How long is each appointment?
Each appointment is approximately 60 minutes and may include history-taking, assessment, treatment exercise and practical advice.
What types of clients do you see?
PIMOTION supports a broad range of home-based needs, including older adults, post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal concerns, neurological rehabilitation and people with limited mobility. Every case is screened individually.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
This depends on your condition, medical history and applicable requirements. Some situations may require medical information or clearance before home physical therapy begins.
What should I prepare?
Please prepare a safe space to move, comfortable clothing and any relevant medical documents or medication list, if available.
What happens at the first visit?
The visit starts with a discussion of your history and goals and an assessment of movement. The approach is then explained, and suitable activities begin if there is nothing to contraindicate them.
How many visits will I need?
The number of visits varies according to the condition, goals, response and consistency. A recommendation can be discussed after assessment; specific results cannot be guaranteed.
